SUMMER CAMPS Outdoor Adventure Camp Outdoor Adventure Camp provides loads of fun for kids in grades 1 through 6. The Camp is held at Arcadia’s unique nature preserve – Wilderness Park – and promises participants a most memorable experience.
The Camps are organized into nine-week sessions and cost $110.00 per session. The fee includes round trip transportation to and from the scheduled bus stops, one t-shirt, a cookout, daily milk, an excursion, crafts, soccer, kickball, volleyball, archery, hiking, nature, wiffle-ball, capture the flag, slip ‘n slide, swimming, singing and group games.

Summer Fun ’N Play Summer Fun ‘n Play is a free supervised elementary program for children entering grades 1-5. This is a drop-in program supervised by college-age recreation leaders that provides a variety of organized recreation activities. Weekly program activities include crafts, special events, games, movies, sports & tournaments, and excursions. Pre-registration will not be taken.

The Zone The Zone is a summer youth center that provides safe, fun supervised activities for youngsters entering grades 6 through 8. The Zone is a free drop-in program led by college age Recreation leaders. Participants are required to sign in and out on a daily basis and may come and go without restriction.
Transportation to and from the Zone is the responsibility of the participant and is not provided by the City. Youngsters are responsible for their own lunch and snacks. A refrigerator is available on-site for students who bring their lunch from home.
The Zone is located at Foothills Middle School (171 E. Sycamore) in the Utility Room between the boys and girls locker rooms. Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9:30am to 3:30pm. Please call 574-5113 for more information. |
