The Arcadia Veterans Local History Room
Honoring All Who Served The Arcadia Veterans Local History Room is a permanent exhibit space dedicated to all veterans of the City of Arcadia. Every three months a new veteran is presented with their own personal story of their experience as a veteran. In addition, each veteran that exhibits their story will be asked to share their oral history of their military experience on audio-visual media, to be recorded by Museum staff. These recordings will be permanently archived in the Museum’s Arcadia Veterans Oral History Collection. The Curator is currently taking names to add to the list of future veteran exhibitors. Please call Dana Dunn at (626) 574-5468 for more information. | Now exhibiting the personal experience of Mary "Mickey" Ball, W.A.V.E. during the Korean Conflict period.
