Serving the community since 1975, Arcadia Transit is a convenient, safe and inexpensive method of traveling throughout the City of Arcadia. Arcadia Transit offers curb-to-curb transportation, responding to individual travel requests as they are received. Riders share the use of the vehicle, making the cost of the trip considerably less than a taxi. Each Arcadia Transit van is clearly marked and features comfortable seating, a two-way radio and is wheelchair accessible. The service is open to the general public and will take you to any destination within City limits.
To request a ride on Arcadia Transit, simply call (626) 445-2211 (TDD users call (626) 445-2522). Trip requests are accepted Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. and on weekends from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Be prepared to provide the following information: - Name and telephone number
- Pick-up and destination locations (be specific)
- Return trip (if applicable)
- Any special assistance needs
The van may arrive up to 15 minutes before or after your scheduled pick-up time. Same day trip requests are honored as received. Please be ready when the van arrives as the driver can only wait 90 seconds. Service is not available on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

New subscriptions are honored as received based on space availability. Patrons with subscriptions who will not be travelling for an extended period of time may suspend their reservations for up to 30 days. General – $1.00 Seniors (62 & older) – $0.25 Persons with disabilities – $0.25 Exact change is required.
Monthly Pass
A monthly pass is available for seniors and persons with disability for $5.00. Passes may be purchased at: Arcadia City Hall 240 West Huntington Drive Arcadia Community Center 375 Campus Drive Arcadia Public Library 20 West Duarte Road Booklets of 20 general fare tickets can also be purchased at the above locations. For cancellation, call (626) 445-2211 at least one hour prior to the scheduled pick-up time. Patrons are encouraged to make every effort to notify Arcadia Transit within the stipulated ride cancellation period. As a courtesy service, the City of Arcadia offers Arcadia transit I.D. Cards to qualified seniors and persons with disabilities. A valid photo I.D. proving senior or disability status is required. Arcadia Transit I.D. Cards are available through the Arcadia Community Center, Senior Services office. For additional information, contact the Senior Center at (626) 574-5130.
