On Saturday, September 1, 2001, officers from the Arcadia Police Department responded to a 911 emergency call at the Coco's Restaurant located at 59 W. Las Tunas Drive, Arcadia.  Upon arrival, officers located a white Ford Aerostar van in the rear parking lot of the restaurant.  Inside the van, officers discovered the body of Charlotte Cole of Arcadia, 50 years old, slumped over the steering wheel.  It was determined that Cole had suffered multiple stab woulds and was the victim of a homicide.
