EMAIL NOTICES FOR ITEMS DUE SOON, OVERDUE, OR ON HOLD The Library sends email notices for items that are "due soon", "recently overdue" or when "on hold" items are available. If you would like to receive these email notices to help you keep track of your Library materials, please click on this link to go to the "Email Verification Form" or ask a staff person at the Circulation Desk to make sure your correct email address is listed on your account and the rest is automatic. Also please remember to return your Library materials on time so others can enjoy them! If you have lost or overdue items, please visit the Circulation Desk today to clean up your Library account. The Library sends all accounts that are 60 days or more past due to a collections agency. |

City of Arcadia Information Available
Not only is the Library your source for information about what’s happening at the state and national levels, the Library can also help you become better informed about what’s going on in Arcadia. Come to the Library’s Reference Desk and browse through the shelves of Arcadia City information. Here you will find City Council agendas and minutes, the City’s operating and capital improvement budgets, departmental annual reports, and environmental impact reports. There are also videotapes of City Council meetings that can be checked out.

Friends of the Arcadia Public Library The Friends are looking for friendly, outgoing volunteers to help staff the Friends' Bookstore at the Library. Volunteers need to be available to work for a two and a half hour shift Mondays through Saturdays between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. For more information, call the Bookstore at 294-4813 or stop in at the Bookstore to pick up an application. Do you have books that are in good shape and that you won't be reading again? Donate them to the Friends of the Library Bookstore.
If you haven’t discovered the Friends Bookstore located just inside the Library, be sure and stop by! It’s filled with books for both children and adults that cover many subjects including history, art, music, literature, science, travel, and more. All books are sold at absolutely amazing bargain prices and the Friends guarantee adventure and surprises in every category. All proceeds from the Bookstore support a variety of Library activities from children’s programs to online databases. The Bookstore is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Computer Skills Classes @Your Library -- Taking a break for the summer.
The Library is pleased to offer a FREE Computer Skills Learning Lab! Courses will be offered every quarter on a wide variety of subjects, and participating patrons will be able to practice hands-on with a dedicated laptop computer, courtesy of the Arcadia Public Library Foundation. Multiple sessions of each course are available. Come back to this spot for more information in August.Top of Page
